Junior Developer Relations Engineer

100% Remote — Global | Contract | Part-time or Full-time

We’re looking for an early-career developer who enjoys building things, explaining technical concepts, and helping other developers succeed.

This is a junior role and a great opportunity for someone looking to get into Developer Relations. No previous DevRel experience is required.

What matters most is evidence that you already do DevRel-adjacent work: open source, technical communities, writing, tutorials, public projects, documentation, developer support, talks, videos, or similar activity.

What you'll do

• Build demos, integrations, examples, and starter projects.
• Write tutorials, guides, and documentation.
• Help developers use our product.
• Participate in developer communities.
• Turn product features into useful technical content.
• Identify developer experience issues and share feedback internally.

You do not need to know how to do all of this already. Part of the role is developing your DevRel skills.

What we're looking for

You should be comfortable writing code, using APIs, Git/GitHub, debugging, and learning new technologies.

Most importantly, we want to see evidence of DevRel-adjacent activity: open-source contributions, technical writing, community work, documentation, tutorials, talks, demos, hackathons, developer tooling, or helping other developers.

It does not need to be professional or have a large audience. We care more about what you've done than your job title.

This is a 100% remote contract role open globally, part-time or full-time. We’ll agree a rate based on experience, aiming to match or exceed market rates.
